Lululemon & Fanatics NHL Premium Fan Apparel Launch 2024

Lululemon and Fanatics have joined forces to revolutionize the world of National Hockey League (NHL) fan apparel with the launch of an exclusive premium collection. This collaborative effort aims to bring a fresh perspective to gameday attire and everyday wear, setting the stage for a stylish new era in sports fandom.

Scheduled to debut on October 29, the meticulously curated line will be accessible across multiple retail locations and online platforms. From the wide-reaching Fanatics network to Lids stores, the flagship NHL Shop in NYC, and team venues, fans will have a multitude of options to get their hands on this coveted collection.

The inaugural collection will showcase 11 NHL teams for the upcoming 2024-25 season, with ambitious plans to encompass all 32 teams by the following season in 2025-26. Offering a blend of performance and leisurewear, the line will feature iconic lululemon products tailored for both men and women. Key pieces will include the beloved Scuba Hoodie, Define Jacket, Align Pant, Steady State Crew, Metal Vent Tee, and Everywhere Belt Bag, all adorned with team logos to proudly display fan allegiance.

Celeste Burgoyne, President, Americas, and Global Guest Innovation for lululemon, emphasized the brand’s dedication to fan culture, stating, “We’re enthusiastic hockey supporters at lululemon, and we are excited to engage with fans through this innovative collaboration. Our partnership with Fanatics and the NHL enables us to introduce high-quality, performance-driven apparel to fans who share our passion for the game.”

NHL Chief Brand Officer Brian Jennings echoed this sentiment, highlighting the distinctive appeal of the collection and expressing optimism about its reception among fans. Jennings further added, “Through a distinctive marketing campaign featuring our esteemed Players and their partners, we believe this premium collection will strike a chord with fans across team stores, select Lids locations, and NHLShop.com.”

One of the noteworthy aspects of this collaboration is the involvement of prominent NHL figures like Connor Bedard, the talented rookie from the Chicago Blackhawks and recipient of the Calder Trophy in the 2023-24 season. Bedard, now a lululemon ambassador, stars in the creative campaign alongside other distinguished NHL players such as John Tavares, Matty Beniers, Dylan Larkin, Seth Jones, Morgan Geekie, and Mark Stone, further elevating the collection’s allure.

Expressing his excitement about the partnership, Bedard remarked, “As a longtime fan and ambassador for lululemon, their gear has been my trusted companion for both training and leisure. I am thrilled to witness the collaboration between lululemon and Fanatics unfold, bringing a touch of elegance to NHL fans’ wardrobes.”

Andrew Low Ah Kee, CEO of Fanatics Commerce, underscored the significance of offering fans a new gameday experience that seamlessly fuses style with comfort. Kee emphasized, “With the hockey season already in full swing, we are thrilled to partner with lululemon in delivering a fresh approach to fan apparel, connecting enthusiasts with their beloved teams through a harmonious blend of style and functionality.”

The initial launch of the collection will spotlight 11 select teams, including the Boston Bruins, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers, Florida Panthers, Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, Seattle Kraken, Toronto Maple Leafs, Vancouver Canucks, and Vegas Golden Knights.
