Panini Partners with Jannik Sinner for Exclusive Memorabilia Collection

Panini, the renowned collectibles company, has joined forces with Jannik Sinner to create an exclusive trading card and memorabilia collection to commemorate his achievement of reaching the number one spot in the ATP world rankings. Hailing from Modena, Italy, Sinner has made history as the first Italian tennis player to clinch the coveted top position in the ATP standings, making this collaboration even more special.

The collaboration between Panini and Sinner traces back to 2022 when they released the book “Piccoli grandi campioni – Manuale illustrato del tennis di Jannik Sinner” (Young Great Champions – Jannik Sinner’s Illustrated Tennis Manual) under Panini Comics. This publication not only sheds light on tennis techniques but also shares anecdotes from Sinner’s formative years in the world of sports. Furthermore, the unique partnership saw Sinner transformed into a playful “duckified” character dubbed “Quacknik Spinner” on the cover of the Topolino magazine by Panini Comics in May 2024, adding a fun twist to his already impressive journey.

Expressing his joy over the collaboration, Sinner fondly recalled his childhood days spent collecting Panini stickers and delving into their comics. He eagerly anticipates the opportunity to engage with his fans in a special and intimate manner through the diverse range of products that Panini will be offering in honor of his accomplishments.

The initial product to be rolled out as part of this partnership is the Panini Instant trading card, designed to celebrate Sinner’s remarkable rise to the pinnacle of the ATP rankings. This exclusive card will be exclusively available on the Panini America platform, giving fans a chance to own a piece of tennis history. Following this launch, Panini has ambitious plans in store, including the release of a series of trading card collections dedicated to Sinner. These sets will feature rare memorabilia items and limited-edition cards, which will be accessible globally through Panini’s e-commerce network and selected retail channels.

With an array of releases scheduled for the year 2024 and beyond, the collaboration between Panini and Jannik Sinner is poised to delight fans and collectors alike. As Sinner continues to make waves in the world of tennis, Panini’s exclusive memorabilia collection will serve as a lasting tribute to his extraordinary journey to the top of the ATP rankings.
