INDYCAR and Parkside Cards Partner for Exciting New Trading Card Series

As the 2024 INDYCAR season gears up for action, fans can expect an extra dose of excitement with the introduction of a brand-new trading card series. INDYCAR has partnered with Parkside Cards for a three-year collaboration that promises to bring fans closer to the thrilling action of open-wheel racing. Launching on March 1, this partnership aims to enhance the race weekend experience with a range of collectibles, contests, and giveaways.

The INDYCAR Collection by Parkside will be made available to fans at race events, in retail stores, and online, ensuring accessibility for enthusiasts everywhere. Parkside Cards plans to engage fans through a variety of initiatives, including redemption cards for signed memorabilia and an exciting contest that offers a grand prize trip to the iconic Indy 500.

Parkside Cards, already known for their card collections for the US Women’s National Soccer Team and the National Women’s Soccer League, is expanding their portfolio to include motorsport with this INDYCAR partnership. The INDYCAR Collection Hobby boxes, priced at $88.99 plus shipping, will contain 20 packs of eight cards each, guaranteeing two autographed cards per box. Additionally, retail hanger packs will feature 25 cards, with an autographed card included in every 18th pack.

Adding a unique touch to the collection, fans will have the opportunity to own relic cards containing actual brick pieces from the prestigious Indianapolis Motor Speedway. These tangible fragments of racing history are sure to be prized possessions in fans’ collections. The base set of the collection comprises 162 cards, accompanied by a 72-card Marquee Moments insert set, as well as thematic inserts like Race Events, Pit Pass, and Indy NXT. The series also offers autographs from 27 different drivers, with special Blue, Black, and 1/1 Gold parallels to enhance the collectibility factor.

Mark Miles, the President and CEO of Penske Entertainment Corp., expressed his excitement for the partnership and the significance of trading cards as a means for fans to connect with the sport’s stars. He believes that the new INDYCAR trading card series will provide fans with a dynamic way to engage with the personalities and talents of the sport.

Pre-sales for the 2024 INDYCAR trading card boxes have already begun, with the racing season scheduled to commence in St. Petersburg, FL on March 10. This collaboration between INDYCAR and Parkside Cards marks an exciting development for racing enthusiasts and collectors alike, offering a fresh and interactive way to celebrate the exhilaration of INDYCAR racing.
