Leaf’s Baseball Card Release Offers Prospects and Autographs Galore

Leaf Trading Cards is gearing up to introduce two eagerly anticipated baseball card sets that promise to captivate collectors and enthusiasts alike. With a focus on showcasing a talented lineup of top MLB prospects, exclusive inserts, and coveted autographs, these upcoming releases are set to take the trading card world by storm.

First on the horizon is Leaf Metal, scheduled to hit shelves on October 25th. Available in both Hobby and Jumbo Box formats, Leaf Metal offers a tantalizing array of cards for collectors to chase. The Hobby Box boasts seven cards, including four autographs, two base/parallel cards, and an exclusive “mojo auto.” On the other hand, the Jumbo Box features 14 cards, with eight autographs, four base/parallel cards, a unique “pulsar auto” exclusive to Jumbo Boxes, and a prized “slabbed auto proof.” All autographs and base parallel cards in the Leaf Metal set will be limited to just 35 copies or fewer.

Among the standout cards in Leaf Metal is a triple autograph featuring the top three picks of the 2024 MLB Draft: Travis Bazzana, Charlie Condon, and Chase Burns. The collection also includes autographs from promising 2024 draftees such as Nick Kurtz, Hagen Smith, and Konnor Griffin. Additionally, Baseball America’s top-ranked prospect Roman Anthony makes an appearance in the set, alongside other notable prospects like Chase Dollander, Dylan Crews, and Coby Mayo. Rookies and recent graduates like Paul Skenes, Elly De La Cruz, and James Wood add depth to this exciting release.

Leaf Press Pass Premium, set to debut on November 8th, promises a premium trading card experience with its high-quality cards. Each premium box contains six base cards and parallels, with a striking five autographs included. One autograph per box is numbered to just 25 or fewer, enhancing the exclusivity of this series. Featuring a 100-card base set and a 100-card retro base set, each with eight parallels limited to 35 copies or fewer, Leaf Press Pass Premium offers collectors a diverse range of cards to discover.

The autograph lineup in Leaf Press Pass Premium includes top 2024 draft picks such as Bazzana, Condon, Kurtz, Smith, and Burns, as well as up-and-coming prospects like Ethan Holliday. Fans will also find autographs from baseball legends like Mookie Betts, Ichiro, and Nolan Ryan, adding a touch of nostalgia to the collection. Autographs in the base set are numbered to 199 or fewer, while retro base autographs are capped at just 49 or fewer. The release further boasts a “Press Box Signatures” insert featuring illustrious names such as John Smoltz, Jim Rome, and Vin Scully.

Both Leaf Metal and Leaf Press Pass Premium will be available for purchase on Leaf’s official website and at leading card retailers. With a rich assortment of talent on display, from emerging rookies to established veterans, these sets promise to offer collectors a valuable and unique addition to their prized collections.
