Upper Deck, a renowned name in the world of sports and entertainment collectibles, has struck an exclusive autograph trading card deal with Macklin Celebrini, the recent number one overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft. This exciting partnership comes hot on the heels of Macklin Celebrini signing a three-year entry-level contract with the San Jose Sharks® on July 6.

Now, fans of the promising ice hockey player can look forward to a range of collectible trading cards produced solely by Upper Deck, featuring Celebrini’s name, image, likeness, and autograph. Macklin Celebrini, a remarkable 18-year-old talent, made history when he was selected as the top pick by the San Jose Sharks® in the 2024 NHL Draft™ on June 28. Prior to this achievement, Celebrini made waves in the college hockey scene by clinching the prestigious Hobey Baker Award during his freshman year, a remarkable feat that crowned him the top player in collegiate hockey. His outstanding performance in the 2023-24 season also earned him accolades such as Hockey East Player of the Year, Hockey East Rookie of the Year, Hockey East Scoring Champion, and the Hockey East Three-Stars Award for his stellar regular season performance.

Commenting on this exciting collaboration, Upper Deck President Jason Masherah expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Macklin Celebrini is a prodigious talent, and we are delighted to have him join our roster of hockey superstars. Our commitment to bringing fans closer to their favorite NHL players is embodied in this partnership, as we strive to showcase the legends of the game alongside emerging stars like Celebrini. We take pride in representing him during this pivotal moment in his career and are eager to capture his on-ice success once he makes his NHL debut.”

To mark this momentous occasion, fans can kickstart their Macklin Celebrini collection on Upper Deck e-Pack® by acquiring a limited edition Game Dated Moments card, available for a limited time until July 25 at 8:59 AM PST. Beyond this initial release, fans can anticipate the launch of additional Celebrini trading card products throughout the upcoming 2024-25 NHL season, offering collectors the chance to expand their memorabilia of this rising NHL star.
