NSCC Charity Auction’s Impact on Cleveland Charities

The National Sports Collectors Convention (NSCC) has announced an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the Cleveland community through a special charity auction at the 2024 convention. This year marks the National’s 44th anniversary, and to celebrate, the auction will feature 44 exclusive items, with proceeds benefiting three Cleveland area charities.

The charity auction, hosted by Pristine Auction, will take place from July 20, 2024, to July 27, 2024. Bidders can participate in the auction online through a designated link, with select items also on display at the convention for attendees to view in person.

The auction highlights a diverse range of sports memorabilia, including two highly valued paintings by renowned sports artists, each estimated at $10,000 to $15,000. Other notable items include signed baseballs, rookie cards, framed cuts, jerseys, helmets, lithographs, and more, featuring famous sports icons like LeBron James, Mickey Mantle, Usain Bolt, and Tyson Fury.

Notable items in the auction include a painting titled “Cleveland Collage,” a LeBron James portrait, a Mickey Mantle signed baseball, a 1955 Bowman Mantle card, and various other rare and collectible sports memorabilia pieces. These items are sure to attract avid collectors and sports enthusiasts alike.

The auction will benefit the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Inc., and The City Mission, two organizations dedicated to helping those in need in the Cleveland area. The Greater Cleveland Food Bank works to provide nutritious food to individuals facing hunger and offers resources to promote education and self-sufficiency. The City Mission focuses on assisting individuals experiencing homelessness by providing tailored programs to help them rebuild stable and independent lives.

The NSCC expresses gratitude for the generous support of all participants in the charity auction. By coming together to bid on exclusive sports memorabilia items, attendees of the 2024 convention can make a meaningful impact on these important local charities, supporting their missions to uplift and empower the Cleveland community.

The NSCC is proud to collaborate with Pristine Auction and the Cleveland area charities to create a platform where sports collecting enthusiasts can contribute to charitable causes while indulging in their passion for sports memorabilia. The 2024 National Sports Collectors Convention promises to be a gathering of like-minded individuals dedicated to giving back and making a positive difference in the community.
