Fanatics Launches ‘The Ten’ Program to Reward Collectors for Finding Top Sports Cards

Fanatics Collectibles, in partnership with Fanatics Live, has unveiled an exciting new initiative called ‘The Ten’. This program is designed to showcase and reward collectors who discover the top 10 sports cards in the market. Drawing inspiration from lists like the “Billboard Hot 100” and the FBI’s “Most Wanted,” ‘The Ten’ features a dynamic selection of 10 cards from various sports. Successful collectors who pull one of these cards using the Fanatics Live app will be awarded $10,000 in Fanatics Live credit.

Each month, ‘The Ten’ will introduce a new set of cards chosen for their popularity and rarity. This diverse selection includes highly sought-after cards such as the 2023-24 Bowman Chrome University Bronny James/LeBron James 1/1 dual-auto card and the yet-to-be-pulled 2023 Bowman Chrome Baseball Draft Tom Brady 12/50 inscribed card.

The inaugural list of ‘The Ten’ includes legendary athletes like Tom Brady and Steph Curry, as well as rising stars such as MLB’s Corbin Carroll and Anthony Volpe, and NBA’s Luka Doncic and Chet Holmgren. These cards will span various brands, including Panini, Upper Deck, Topps, and Bowman.

James Kollar, senior director of marketing at Fanatics Live, expressed the program’s goal of enhancing the collecting experience and giving back to collectors. ‘The Ten’ aims to foster community engagement by allowing Fanatics Live participants and the collecting community to have a say in the monthly card selections.

In addition to highlighting top sports cards, ‘The Ten’ also serves as a platform to promote new products and generate excitement for existing releases with chase cards. Dealers and collectors can showcase these cards during the program, creating a buzz and sparking discussions within the community.

Fanatics Live plans to feature pack and box breaks, along with special shows dedicated to ‘The Ten’. These shows will celebrate major discoveries and announce the upcoming cards. A dedicated webpage will track the cards and their finders, adding to the overall narrative.

‘The Ten’ program focuses on the stories behind the collectors and their finds, offering a unique storytelling aspect. With Fanatics Live experiencing consistent growth since its debut and an average watch time of 56 minutes, it has emerged as a community-focused platform. James Kollar shares his enthusiasm for the potential impact of ‘The Ten’ program, both for the Fanatics brand and the collector community.

As the sports card collecting hobby continues to thrive, Fanatics’ ‘The Ten’ program aims to create even more excitement and engagement among collectors. By showcasing and rewarding the discovery of top sports cards, this initiative solidifies Fanatics Live as a platform that truly understands and connects with collectors.
